The photo opportunities are endless, with superb backdrops of the ruin of the once magnificent tower, the Priests House itself, the orchard, the woods or the valley stretching into the distance. The scenery and mystique of the place is dramatic whatever the season, especially the winter months with the dark nights actually complementing the authenticity of the medieval surroundings. Small and intimate... The Priests House is ideal for small, exclusive civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and receptions. Whilst space in the restaurant is limited, this adds to the intimate and romantic feel of the day. There are various options holding just your ceremony followed by a celebratory drink and canapé’s or following with a wedding breakfast or even a medieval themed occasion to fit in with this historic venue. No wedding is too small. ..or the chapel for a larger event... With the Tower, grounds and fabulous views all around, the venue is perfect for larger events through the use of the newly renovated “old chapel”. You will have exclusive use of the house for the duration of your stay. The Old Chapel can host parties up to 70 and having waited for 11 years for these works to happen the venue opened in 2016....and quite stunning it is.
