The Elizabethan Suite is one of Bury's finest Wedding Venues. Forming part of the handsome stone built Town Hall, it is ideally situated in the centre of Bury, Lancashire.
It has four rooms; the Balcony Bar which is used to offer you and your guests an area to relax, the Peel Room which is our most popular room for the Wedding Breakfast capable of seating up to 70, the Lancaster Room which is often the choice for the evening buffet to be served, and the Main Hall. The Main Hall is ideal for those who are looking for an alternative venue away from the standard function room. With its' high ceiling, chandaliers, mood lighting and huge dance floor, its' perfect for the Evening Reception and Wedding Breakfast for 70+ guests.
The perfect venue for your Wedding Breakfast after holding the ceremony at the adjoining Register Office, church or venue of your choice, you will have exclusive use of the Elizabethan Suite for the whole of your day.
Enjoy a red carpet arrival with champage and canapes, then relax in the Balcony Bar before sitting down to a sumptuous meal in the Peel Room or Main Hall.
Then get in the party mood with your Evening Reception in the impressive Main Hall, with its' own bar and open platform stage perfect for the DJ or band. Take your first dance on the large wooden dance floor whilst balloons gently cascade over you; an ideal photo opportunity.

Situated in the centre of Bury, the Elizabethan Suite is positioned at the junction of Manchester Road with Jubilee Way / Angouleme Way.
We are approxiamtely 1 mile off junction 2 of the M66, and have the Metrolink Station with direct links to Manchester just a 3 minute walk away.
There is ample parking within close proximity, with Manchester Road car park, Q-Park multi-storey (off Knowsley Street) and the Metrolink car park all within walking distance. |
