Set in tranquil grounds and situated less than a mile form the centre of Maidstone, Oakwood House has hosted society weddings since 1870.

Today the house retains a unique sense of atmosphere and tradition, ready to offer you years of experience in a beautiful country location.

Great care will be taken with the details and preparations of your wedding with the added bonus of your own dedicated wedding planner to help with the meticulous planning process.

We are a licensed venue for civil ceremonies and vows can be exchanged in
our light and airy Garden Room, which overlooks the west lawn and can seat up to 80 guests. Alternatively for larger parties you can use our John Wigan Suite which can hold up to 300 guests.

Our stunning John Wigan Suite is also used for your wedding breakfast and combined with our Lewis Wigan Room can seat up to 250 guests for your wedding breakfast.

Oakwood House also has the added benefit of en-suite accommodation to allow your guest to take full advantage of your hospitality without the worry of driving home. We are also pleased to offer the bride and groom a complimentary honeymoon suite for the night of the wedding.

With the stunning backdrop of the building and our beautiful Gardens, Oakwood House offers both a relaxed atmosphere for your wedding day and fantastic photographic opportunities.
