Lulworth Castle
For over 400 years Lulworth Castle has played host to an impressive array of guests and has entertained no less than seven monarchs. Set in extensive parkland with breathtaking views across the Purbecks and the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, Lulworth will make it a day to remember.
Surviving the disastrous fire in 1929, restoration work returned the exterior to its original glory and consolidated the interior to provide a most remarkable venue revealing many stories about its past.
The natural state of the Castle offers a spectacular, unique and versatile blank canvas for any wedding theme. For very large celebrations, additional space can be accommodated in a Marquee on the wide lawns to the rear of the Castle.
Lulworth Courtyard
This charming traditional 18th century Courtyard, located in the grounds of Lulworth Castle, is the perfect setting for civil ceremonies & celebrations. Offering an all weather venue with versatile indoor and outdoor space including two multi purpose function rooms leading from the Courtyard, this venue can be yours to enjoy in beautiful surroundings. If more undercover space is required, marquees offer the perfect solution.
Alternatively you can apply to take your vows in the St Andrew’s Church or St Mary’s Roman Catholic Chapel close to the Castle & Courtyard and hold your reception in either the Castle or Courtyard.
Due to the uniqueness of both venues the Castle & Courtyard has nominated caterers who offer a variety of style and budgets to meet your catering requirements.

| By Road: Take the A35 towards Dorchester, turning left onto the A351 towards Wareham. From the by-pass turn onto the A352 signposted to Wool. Now follow the brown signs for Lulworth Castle, which is on the B3070. |
