Springhead Mill and Lakeside Gardens, Shaftesbury, Dorset
Contact Information

Description
Situated in the picturesque Dorset village of Fontmell Magna, surrounded by the most stunning landscape, Springhead is just perfect for an intimate country wedding, whatever the season.
Once the family home of the renowned conductor, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Springhead’s ‘piece de resistance’ is its spectacular gardens, providing many enchanting areas for those special photographs, including a delightful wooden bridge over fresh water springs and an antique Italian rotunda beside the lake.
Unlike most venues, the couple and their guests have exclusivity of the place. The 18th century mill building provides a comfortable reception room for pre-drinks and socialising, a dining room with views of the lake, a dance area on the ground floor, as well as full kitchen facilities for your choice of caterer.
