Whether you are looking for small and intimate or large and lavish, here at the Porthminster we have the skills and experience to make sure that your special day runs perfectly.
Our dedicated Wedding Coordinator will help you carefully plan your day right down to the smallest details; nothing is too much trouble to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams.
We are fully licensed for civil ceremonies, we can seat up to 100 for your wedding breakfast and 200 for your evening reception. Larger numbers can be catered for using our main restaurant if required. We aim to make your wedding here as stress free as possible and can even take care of all the decorating, with the help of our in house florist.
Our rooms have uninterrupted views over St Ives Bay, which offers you a stunning background for photos even when the weather isn’t on your side. We always recommend booking in your ceremony before confirming with ourselves. If you are looking to have a civil ceremony then you will need to book with Penzance Registrars on 01872 322007.
In the evening you can dance the night away with our resident DJ or even a live band. We are licensed for the bar and music till midnight but can also get an extended license till 1am if required.
Our Executive Chef has created some truly exceptional cuisine so we can guarantee an eating experience you will never forget.
From an eight course sit down wedding breakfast to a relaxed barbeque on our private decking over looking St Ives Bay, or if you have something specific in mind you can even write your own menu.
We have no set packages but we do require a minimum spend on all our Fridays & Saturdays during our peak season.

Perched directly above the beach, and overlooking the clear waters of St Ives Bay and the famous Godrevy Lighthouse (immortalised by novelist Virginia Woolf). The views from our hotel are amongst the best you’ll find anywhere in Cornwall.
